Will Power and Advice Don’t Always Solve Problems

We cannot usually solve our problems just by willing them away or listening to the advice of others. To make changes we need to know how to get below the surface and redo the patterns that we have learned that worked at one time and now are just not working. The new patterns need to override that old system.

Recently it has been discovered that the brain changes throughout life. The brain has the ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. To do this with “intention,” it is helpful to go below the surface of our consciousness into the deeper parts of us, where the archetypes, the great energetic patterns that are the essence of who and what we are exist, live. To make a change that has lasting possibilities it becomes necessary to engage at this deep pattern-making level.

This archetypal world is in the realm of image, myth and story. How do we find our deeper stories and myths that drive us? To accomplish these insights I have developed the PACE Profile (paceprofile.com).
